Falling leaves already?

Aha, here is my by proxy grandson, a Rhodesian Ridgeback by the name of BEN. Actually he goes by Boney, sometimes, or BoneyBen or The Bone. He's a yearling son, and does not have a clue to his size or strength. The original floppy hounddawg. I went to PA this summer to visit my vet daughter and all of the surrounding Mercer County countryside. She's got geriatric horses and nice acreage with a pond and unbelievable scenery. Yow! Further news, NASA is getting around to the gravity thing, (good) and the random teeny poison flashes drifting around a bajuillion mph, and all the other dangers out there -- did you realize that a good stout poke with a pen could have pierced the luna lander's outer wall?? No sharpies there, please! I didn't know that. It pays to watch DISCOVERY channel. Science marches on at a breakneck pace, and in redoing my ms for my novel, discovered I had to upgrade the electronic gadgets and I've got to do RESEARCH!! ewww. Don't write epic journey novels that are set in present-near future... even if your characters are like mine, back country -- (even electronically challenged). Pluto is not a planet. Looky. Look at it's orbit. It's wonky. It goes beyond the plane of all the other relatively well-behaved planets, and it cuts rudely in front of Neptune in places. Also, Its a wee thing. So, I'm with the guys who demoted Pluto. I'm sure it's feelings aren't hurt a bit.
